What does an Action Corps Organizer do?
Position Title: Action Corps Organizer (volunteer)
Time Commitment: 1-5 hours/week (flexible schedule)

Summary: Action Corps, a grassroots humanitarian education and advocacy organization, seeks organizers to achieve results for its global justice campaigns through legislative advocacy and coalition building.

Summary: Action Corps, a grassroots humanitarian education and advocacy organization, seeks organizers to achieve results for its global justice campaigns through legislative advocacy and coalition building.
Organizers contribute to campaigns in the following ways:
Established Organizers have the opportunity to become Lead Organizer for their local team and represent that team in the Steering Committee.
Every Organizer may be listed on the Action Corps website and may list "Action Corps Organizer" on their resume or LinkedIn page.
- Coordinate contact with local congressional offices
- Engage with people from local allied organizations as a representative of Action Corps
- Update social media accounts to ensure that public messaging is consistent across all channels
- Coordinate Action Corps’ participation in local events that relate to Action Corps’ mission and campaigns
- Attend weekly organizational meetings
