Who are Action Corps ambassadors?
Action Corps ambassadors are people across the United States who want to advance Action Corps’ mission of championing justice in solidarity with people most affected by climate disasters and violent conflict through advocacy. Ambassadors do this by joining Action Corps staff and organizers in meeting with members of Congress, submitting letters to the editor of local newspapers, and taking occasional other action in their communities. Ambassadors are the Action Corps volunteer role requiring the lowest level of commitment; ambassadors are not required to participate in recurring meetings. Many Action Corps ambassadors are former trained organizers who are no longer able to participate at the same level of intensity but who wish to stay involved. Others are community leaders who share our goals. See our current ambassadors.
