Join the Action Corps Volunteer Team!
As an Action Corps volunteer, you have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on pressing global issues. We offer two distinct roles:
Action Corps Ambassador:
Every volunteer may be listed on the Action Corps website and can include their respective role ("Action Corps Ambassador" or "Action Corps Organizer") on their resume or LinkedIn page.
This volunteer opportunity is currently open exclusively to U.S. residents.
Action Corps Ambassador:
- 2 to 5 hours / year
- Become an ambassador and champion justice in solidarity with those most affected by climate disasters and violent conflict. As an ambassador, you will meet with members of Congress, submit letters to the editor, and take action in your community to support our mission. This role requires a lower level of commitment and is ideal for individuals who want to contribute on a flexible basis.
- 2 to 5 hours / week including meetings
- Step up as an organizer and contribute to our global justice campaigns through legislative advocacy and coalition building. Organizers coordinate contact with local congressional offices, engage with allied organizations, update social media accounts, coordinate participation in local events, and attend weekly organizational meetings. This role is for individuals who are ready to dedicate more time and actively shape our initiatives.
